There were people everywhere, as far as the eye could see, filling the wide avenue, the sidewalks, overflowing onto adjacent streets; you could even see their reflexions filling the frame of the black Decaux "lollipop".
They were people from all walks of life, parading slowly and in silence, as if behind a hearse.
Sometimes applauses would break the silence, starting in the back, swelling as they came closer, and then moving on towards the head of the parade.
I had never seen anything like that.

Anna's barge is one of many that are permanently moored on the canal. Every day on my way to work I pass this barge. When Anna is on the deck, I wave at her. Anna is a seamstress, she does upholstery, and also makes pillows and curtains. When the weather is right, I take my camera to catch the rising steam from the canal playing whis the sun. That February morning I was lucky.

This is my grand-daughter Michaela, whom I see only once year, she lives so far away.

try clean the ring-shaped part of the camera where the lense is attached, do the same for the lense. It worked for my Kr. Be careful to do that with camera facing down.
