Thanks. You are the second person to mention a wide angle zoom. I'm now thinking of renting a Pentax HD DA 11-18mm f/2.8 ED DC AW. Then maybe bring the 18-135. And leave the GR home due to all the dust flying around that everyone mentions.

Upcoming trip to Israel

I'm sure this question has been asked many times but I have a first time group trip to Israel coming up and am trying to decide what equipment to take. the trip is focused on 'walking in the footsteps of Jesus' to give you an idea of what we will be seeing although I may be able to take a side trip to Tel Aviv.

I own a K50, 18-135, 55-300plm, a few prime lenses (21mm, 50mm, 43mm), a Ricoh GRii, and a Google Pixel 2

I've been tasked with documenting the trip so want to make sure I do a good job of this. I tend to travel light and have done other trips with just the GRii. However, one combination I've tried that works well is to take the K50 with the 55-300 on a Peak Design sling strap and the GRii in my pocket. This covers pretty much the whole range with no lens changes. The newest version of the Peak Design is fairly comfortable and I've done at least a half day with it with minimal discomfort. Then just a small backpack with essentials, clif bars, and water.

What are your thoughts on this.

Thanks in advance for your input.
