Going to Hawaii for the first time and want to try my hand at underwater photography. Can anyone recommend an underwater camera housing for my K-50? Obviously looking for something that will keep my investment safe and allow me to take the best pictures my skills permit. ;)
Thanks in advance for your insight and suggestions!!

Thanks, all. I shoot mostly pets, portraits and wildlife. Does that help?
I'm pretty disappointed by my kit zooms (DAL 18-55 and 50-200. Shots just don't have that UMPH.
Love the shots from the FA 50 macro. It's pretty much on my camera all the time. I can just crop down if I am too far away and I still get a beautiful, crisp picture.

I **think** the consensus is DFA 100 mm 2.8 macro is the better choice?

Is there any benefit to having the macro on the 100 if I already have a 50 macro?

The DFA 100 is the NON WR version. Not sure if that changes anything?

THANK YOU!
I have:
- K50
- DAL 50-200mm 4-5.6 WR
- DAL 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 WR
- FA 50mm 2.8 macro (favorite lens by far)
- M 50mm 1.7 (still trying to figure out - probably "too" manual for me at this stage)
Does that change your recommendation?

Trying to decide between these two lenses. Which do you consider better and why?
Thank you for your input!

HI! I have a K50 with the kit zooms - 18-55 WR and 50-200 WR, plus I picked up a lovely FA 50mm Macro (thank you, Paul!).
Now I'm looking for a fast, sharp prime for lower light conditions. None of my lenses does well in low light.
Suggestions?
Many thanks,
Heather

I'm interested in this lens for my K-50. I have the kit lens 80-200. How much more range would I get with this? Does it work with my autofocus? I would be using it for wildlife photos, so I would need fast focus and no shake.
Love to hear your thoughts. Thank you,
Heather

Thanks to all for you wonderful advice. I bought:
- used FA 50 Macro
- set of Close-Up Filters to try with my 18-55 WR Kit lens
Can't wait to play with all of them!:)

Hi all. I have my first Pentax K-50 with the two kit lenses but want to do some macro work. I am an old timer with SLR experience (Canon A-1), but this is my first DSLR. I'm disappointed by the lack of macro capacity on the kit lenses.
What do you recommend for a macro lens under $500? I don't need zoom and don't need new. Also does not have to be a Pentax or AF.
I don't know how to work the tubes - that may be the answer but maybe someone can point me in the direction of what to buy and how to use them?
Many thanks!!
