Thank you all! It was really cold that day:) I just got 12-24, this is one of the first shots with this lens. I'm kind of testing it against Sigma 10-20 f3.5 that I own since almost 2 years. It will be a difficult choice to keep one of them... 12-24 feels not so wide after 10-20, but has more even picture quality across the frame.
PS. By now the snow is almost gone in that place :(

Got two photos into Explored in April.
From the 12th of April:
This one if from the 24th of April.
Both were between positions 400-500, and unfortunately had dropped out by the end of the day...

Thank you! I was lucky to capture the moment, as the sun suddenly appeared through the stormy clouds. I had to put exposure compensation to -1 to keep the sky from being overblown. After that, I've recovered several pictures from a single RAW file (EV 0,-1, -2,+1,+2) without any problems (I was shooting at ISO80) and merged them into a single HDR photo. Finally, a bit of Photoshop correction/cropping brought me the final result!
The viewpoint is near the Santa Maria del Rosario church, looking at the other side (Guidecca), more specific at Giudecca Hilton - the brick building in the photo. I really enjoyed staying in Venice too - beautiful city!

Thank you! It was a windy day, which made it quite challenging to get a properly composed and focused shot - actually I had made about 30 shots, before it flew away, and only two were usable...
