Hi,
I found your thread and I think it will help me with my problem. I have been having the biggest headache with my kx not turning on regardless the battery I use. Im hoping if I upgrade the firmware that will solve my battery issue. But to do so I need a stable power source so it doesn't die during the update and screw me. In your hack you state "Ensure you connect the polarity of the wires correctly." How do I make sure of that?
