PS. the shutter speed of this picture is 1/400 but the drop down list doesn't have it

After I accidentally dropped my loved white Kx into the sea water this April, I finally got my new Pentax camera, K3 premium silver edition. I am so excited and so proud of this brand :). when people ask me "What camera do you use?"; I proudly answer them that I use PENTAX. I have a feeling that not many people know exactly how excellent, fantastic and wonderful Pentax cameras and lens are. they just want to use what they think is "popular" but Pentax is a hidden gem.
The purpose of this thread is that I just want to tell you all that I loyally love Pentax!
Here is a very first picture taken by DA50mm F1.8 shipped with the camera.

Wow, I've seen the photos you uploaded on both threads. They are absolutely amazing both 15mm and 31mm. I really wanna be able to take some photos like that too. Can you tell me what camera did you use? I have a K3, can it do like that too? and what about filters, do you use any?

using the kit lens first is a good idea but I have a question about why FA31 or DA15 are so expensive compared to DA35 F2.4? is it because they are limited? or the sharpness? what makes them so special :( and of course expensive :(

Wow, your pictures look fantastic. They are so sharp! Are these taken by FA77?
what about DA15, FA31? are they sharp like this?
Now i'm thinking of lens that can produce very sharp pictures like the ones you posted here.
I fell in love with it XD
I have DA50 F1.8 being shipped to me :). will it be sharp like this?
If 77mm can do like this, I think 50mm can also do like this. XD

can you tell me why DA15 and FA31 are so expensive compared to Sigma 18-35 f1.8?
Sigma has the zoom range from 18-35 while the other two are fixed
Can anyone tell me what makes DA15 and FA31 very expensive? there should be something :(

I know that many manual focus lens are a lot cheaper XD but they are hard to focus for me.
I just want to know if there is any tip for practicing especially for F1.4 or F1.8.
I always miss focus when I use my 55mm F1.8 XD when i'm taking a photo, It looks like the object is in focus. But when I see the picture on the computer, the photo is not in focus :(

I c, I manually quoted it XD. If you say that F2 is good enough and no need to go for F1.4, then should I just buy the DA50mm F1.8 or FA50mm F1.4 instead for a better price?

you mean that 85mm F1.4 is much better then these ones, is that correct? the price is also much higher. What does better subject isolation mean? I'm sorry English is not my first language XD

I own a Kx and i'm going to buy a K3 but I don't really know how to use flash for portrait. Also I have 18-250mm and I think on-board flash will leave a shadow so that I will probably need a flash to solve this problem if I take photo at night. Besides such problem, I just want to know which flash will be the most beneficial for me because i will buy one and I just want the most suitable one.

Another question is that why you decided to use F2, what about F1.4? is it better to use F2?

If I want to be good at portrait photography, do I need to have a flash? like AF360 or AF540
Is it worth to buy one of them because they all are expensive. I don't even know how to use flash during daytime, when to use it and why should I use it.
Do I need to buy one of them or I can use on-board flash?
What will be the benefits for having one of those?

I have another stupid question :(
I'm thinking which one is the best for FULL BODY portrait photography between DA 50mm F1.8, DA* 55mm F1.4 SDM, and FA 50mm F1.4 if budget is not a problem.
I want to take full body portrait and i'm not sure which one is more suitable. 55mm one is more expensive but its got 1.4 also it is WR and has quick shift while 50mm one is not WR but it's a lot cheaper.
There are 2 offer from Adorama, the first one has k3body + grip + 50mm F1.8 and another one has k3body + grip + AF540 flash. I think if I buy the first one, i'm not going to buy 55mm 1.4 because I already have 50mm one. But if I buy the second one, i'm going to buy 55mm F1.4. So which one would you guys recommend to me? And which one is the best for full body portrait among the three?
please give me some suggestion :)
