Hi, this foto was taken with a Fujichrome Film of 100 ASA, the digital transformation was made by a professional local company called 'Fachcolor' in Hochdorf near Freiburg i.Br., Germany, they utilize the latest Drumscanners, which outperform any other services I'd known so far in 20 years. (No way to expect that kind of quality from your local drugshop automats ;-) If you want the address, though it's not a cheap service plus postage, just let me know.... Thanks Peter

The old Takumar 1,8/55 mm lens to me is still one of the best as one can see here in this casual shot of a motorbike I've seen parked at the 'Mummelsee' in the Black Forest, South Germany: Almost 3D in Depth as far as color layers are concerned and almost no early picture rushing whatsoever while enlarging...

while trying to focus on a flying stork a passer by suggested he'd better go to a lawn nearby to casually shoot stills of some beautiful flowers

I clearly vote for Nr. 13 being the most convincing grafic design: Anyone linked to photography knows what it's all about at an instance & being a Designer myself I add, 'Less is More!'

This Shot was taken in our friends 'Rustico' in Brione / Locarno. From all those Fotos I ever took, this one simply oozes my Impression of 'a peaceful and contemplative vacation' everytime time I look at it.

I shot this photo last Sunday when strolling with my wife about an exhibition park of a local concrete firm who had invited for a public walk in. My name is Peter Bermes, I'm an Industrial Designer (Engineering) aged 74 and Photography was part of my life ever since my parents presented me a 'Agfa Clack' on my 9th Birthday. After ending my professional life in 2013 when product photography was a daily asset, I returned to analogue shooting but keep the benefits of 'both worlds' like scans, post processing and correcting via Photoshop etc. of course. Most of all I enjoy the restauration of damaged & blind old cameras to try their 2nd life.In the wake of this I obtained my Pentax SP body wreck on the 'Bay' from its owner located in Jerusalem for a mere € 3,99 plus postage: No shutter movement at all, mirror stuck half way as well etc. After extensive & careful cleaning everything is well again, shutter running softly & reliable & the lightmeter still acting as a Diva sometimes...

1.) I'm a prime minister and for this reason alone I deserve your prime lens if you like it or not!
2.) I'm not used to shoot primeavals at prime time without a prime lens immediately after priming.
3.) Primarely I gave priority to having pried open a locker where this prime lens won't be stored too primitively.

Hi, I accidentally stumbled accross your thread concerning the jammed gearwheel in your pentax. (As you posted this question about a year or so ago I do hope you didn't throw your camera away or that someone else had solved your problem meanwhile) Anyway its an easy cure: You've circled exactly the center of troubles! Its not the gearwheel itself though but the black lever that sits in its recessed niche and which is protruding up from inside the camera! If you just move this black lever all the way towards the camara back and support this by joggling the other lever that sticks up through the slot on the other gearwheel on your 2nd foto at the same time, you will immediately feel your blockade will be gone! (provided of course that everything else like shutter curtains and all is ok!) I had this same thing on my S1a yesterday and it took me 4 hours to get to this point.... Hope I could 've still been of assistance.
Regards Peter
