FF are going lighter and lighter. I wonder how much this will weigh. Any guess by someone competent, judging from the pictures?

Thank you for your comment. Actually I am very well equipped in mFT with primes for all distances - for short and medium I have the Panasonic 14 f2.4 and the 20 f1.7, the PanaLeica 25mm f1.4, the Olympus 45mm 1.8, the Sigma 60mm 2.8 and the Sigma 30mm f1.4 for FT (usable on mFT). These have to be multiplied by 2 to get the 35mm equivalent. Thus, first, it is exactly the 50 (=77mm) that I am missing and I want to fill in the gap with the Pentax. And, second, I am very curious to see how the Pentax 50 1.8 will perform IQ-wise with respect to the mFT/FT primes, given the larger sensor of the K-30, the 50 1.8 very good reviews and the very very good quality from all of the above-mentioned FT/mFT lenses. But right now I cannot say anything - looking forward to obtaining the 50 1.8.

Hi everybody! I have just acquired a K-30 to complement my large Olympus FT and mFT gear. I am curious to see how the somewhat larger sensor would perform and whether there will be serious differences. Apart from the kit WR lens I have two ancient GDR lenses, Carl Zeiss Flektogon 20mm f2.8 and Pentacon 135mm f2.8. These did not work very well with Olympus (both FT and mFT). The first one behaves erratically, sometimes producing nice photos - inexplicably :D, the second one is OK. But I am not fond of MF lenses. I intend to get a 50mm f1.8 - and then will be able to comment more.
