Yes the interface and the software is not state of the art. Today with every serious manufacturer you can at least use Lightroom for tethering, but unfortunately not Pentax. With a camera of this price level i expect an appropriate piece of software. But lot of people here mean the 645z is a landscape camera... :rolleyes:

Yes in the US. But its shipping already since september... and this software is unfortunately not a joy to use - even no resizable window...:-( Sorry but for a medium format camera this software is a joke...

It seems that almost nobody is using a 645z in the studio? Why? Is it because its not really a joy to use the tethering software from Pentax?

No the the 645Z does not share it yet... the FLUcard is just a compromise - all serious medium format cameras like Phaseone, Mamiya, Hasselblad, Leica have it but not Pentax - strange...

I think its a review like any others. No word about studio use - why - because for use in a studio especially the workflow there of the 645z is sorry crap.. no real tethered possibility for this medium format camera :(

Es scheint das die Pentax 645D gar nicht für den Studiogebrauch mit einer Software gemacht ist. Oder gibt es eine Lösung um gemachte Fotos mit einer Blitzanlage direkt auf einem Mac anzusehen wie das zb. mit Lightroom oder CaptureOne bei anderen Kameras der Fall ist?
