Battery for SPOTMATIC F from BRIANO

Thanks for your reply.
I was trying to get a battery that was cheaper. Being 1.4 it was closer to the 1.35 than. A 1.5
I have tried the spotmatic f with this battery and the film came out very well. I should have
mentioned that the battery needs a no ring round it.I used a tyre from a dinky toy.

Hi there, the spotmatic F needs a mercury battery 1.35. This is no longer available but I have found
A zinc air hearing aid battery 1.4 works fine.
With the first spotmatic a watch battery 377 works really well.
Hope this is useful to spotmatic owners.

Hi Thanks for your reply. Which Chinon lenses have you had experience of?
I have been told that chinon lenses were made by pentax and the 55mm 1.7 lens is very sharp.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY experience OF USING A 135 2.8 m42 lens on a Spotmatic F.
What sort of quality were the pictures.
