Recently acquired the lens from my grandmother. It was my grandfather's, and he passed away in 1996, after being in hospital for a few years. So this lens has gone unused for 20 years, and is still absolutely brilliant. I have it mounted on my Canon Rebel T3/1100D using a cheap adapter.
My only problems have been at f/1.4 and in daylight where the highlights get massively blown out unfortunately, but at f/2.8 the lens is gorgeous.
All of the photos in this set are taken with the 50mm, with apertures ranging from f/1.4 to f/2.8. (most of them are either at 1.4 or 2.8) https://www.flickr.com/photos/bengoodwin/sets/72157647132589201/ - If you want to know which, look at the bokeh. If they are perfectly round then the photo is 1.4 (such as the 8-pointed star flower), if they have slight hexagon appearance, then its f/1.8-2.2 and if its a noticeable hexagon its f/2.8. All of the pictures in this set have been put through some post processing, so attached are some non-PP images straight from my camera.
I believe the pink flowers was at f/2.8, and 8-pointed star at f/1.4
