#11 ..........

At first I was thinking #9, then a closer look I determined it could be a fake, I think the two people were planted, the halo dont seem to belong.

Happy to be now a member after scoping out the forum for years. Brand new K3 a week old - upgraded from K7 last four years.

Was seriously thinking of switching to Nikon to deal with the issues of low light focusing and high ISO noise of the K7... after reading all the reviews of the K3 that I could find, I decided to buy a body and test with my two DA star lens.

As of today I'm glad I didnt switch... the K3 is a keeper - cant wait to get some serious shooting done.

Heres something that I am confused about... happens also with the K7:

1/ EXIF metering mode always says "Pattern" for raw/jpg - yet 99% of the time I shoot in center spot mode.
2/ JPG EXIF scene type always says "A directly photographed image" regardless of scene type chosen eg: Portrait, Landscape etc.
3/ EXIF "Scene Capture Type" always says Standard regardless of scene type.

Finally this one is even more confusing - Sharpness, Fine Sharpness, Extra Sharpness - adjusing one adjusts all three regardless of which is chosen.

Hope you guys can shed some light.

Thanx /pete
