Here in The Netherlands the black one was normal price, so I got that one. The white or red was way more expensive, let alone all the other crazy colour combinations.
I'd love to have had the ability to compose my own combination (for a reasonable price) :) |

Regarding the rainbow / prism / pink floyd design: isn't #11 one of the possible variations of that? So you better vote for that one, possibly that could result in the rainbow one?
As Adam wrote elsewhere, he didn't include every version of every design (understandably).

Spent a couple of days in Paris a while ago. Wanted to shoot something slightly different than most shots at The Louvre, and came up with this. |

I´m not a climber, and I did not recognize the setting instantly. Which is why I really really loved this picture. At first sight, I only saw weird colourful shapes, a weird angle, weird movement, weird lighting patterns. It totally puzzled me at first sight while at the same time it felt like looking at this Kadinsky painting, very pleasing to the eye!! Thanks for giving me inspiration! ---------- Post added 03-29-15 at 08:57 AM ----------
I can barely identify the objects myself haha. The long green leafs on the left are inside the terrarium. On the bottom right of those is a part of a gold elephant from a pillow on the sofa. The sofa isn´t even close to the terrarium, yet the different mirrors on the ball got these 2 parts very large and very closeby to each other in the reflection.

@ Wim/Ishpunuini : I would like that too! I hadn't thought of a safari version, good idea! I'm not gonna make previews for every colour combination anyone would want though, at the moment ;-) We'll see what the future brings.

Thanks!
Possible colour options below. This design is only suited to be printed in a darker colour on a lighter background, because the cameras are made up of dark/light shadow/light, and those can't be reversed. That leaves enough printing options though. I went for the Pentax/forums colours red/white/green mostly.

Related to your question I have a question to Adam, regarding shirt colours:
Is a final design gonna be available for ordering on just 1 colour shirt? Or did you mean there will be various/multiple colour options for a design?
In the first case, I want my submission to be black on grey. In the second case, I'm more than happy to provide other colour options for preview :)

We have a small disco-ball hanging on our living room ceiling. I focused way beyond it, and managed to get a big unsharp blur with some sharp details. It does not make a great photograph really, but it was such a fun experiment, to see our living room being squashed into this weird shape/perspective. I thought of this when I saw this contest :)
PS: really great photo's here again!

Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, Paris.
PS: decided to give some more info here, because the location deserves it. This museum is housed in a beautiful hall from the 1600s which was renovated, and modernised in a way I really loved. Google it, it's amazing. The shot was mirrored in a glass plate of a display.
K50 with DAL18-55wr. I wish I had brought a small tripod or spent some more time on the shot. But there were thousands of more great shots there, and also my family to spend time with :)

I actually have to agree with dcshooter, that we have to look at this purely legal, and often what we think is highly logical/right is not the same as legal. Big businesses are indeed not the same as human beings, they and their lawyers are often beyond reasoning, and actually in their right to not be.
Most likely we'll stay under the radar, and even if we get detected, there may be no actions at all. But still, better safe then sorry.
I do wonder, how much of a change to the P shape would be necessary? I'm thinking of altering this one, instead of using a generic other font for it.

I personally feel this falls under "fair use". It's not really the P, just imagery shaped like the P. I could also make it a slightly different P but really I'm not feeling too worried about it.
Besides the P, the images of the cameras and other gear are fabricated of pictures I found online, and altered to fit this whole design. Maybe there could technically be some copyright issues here, but again, I feel this is "fair use". We could also re-take the exact same photos of the products, to create the exact same end result here. But I'm not in the position to do that.
In my opinion, I created something original, using existing parts, altering these parts, and transforming these into something new, without hurting the original creators of these parts.

Updated design. It was another struggle, but there are no more duplicate images in the design anymore. Managed to squeeze in some flashes and big lenses too.

Actually my first idea WAS to make a K haha. But it's not the Pentax K-mount forum. And I'm strict like that ;-)

Thanks! And I did think of or try all your suggestions before :)
I used multiple of the same images simply because of lack of time. I could use more if I spend some more time on it. And I could use multiple angles of the same camera bodies. If there's interest, I'll definitely do that!
Lenses and flashes. Well, those are not really visually appealing to me. Lenses turn to simple squares or circles in one colour. They are more recognisable on the camera body.
I did try the PF logo in red (and other colours) and it does work indeed. But for the sake of simplicity I chose for 1 colour nonetheless.
PS and I thought of using a K instead of a P. But I wanted to include all mounts, I also included q / screw / 645 / compact etc products.

So here it is, my puzzle.
I personally prefer monochrome clothing and designs, and from my experience those are best and easiest sold, spread and worn by most people. (PS and cheaper to do)
Ignoring the rainbow discussion alltogether ;-) (PS: EDITED UPDATED VERSION BELOW IN THIS THREAD) |

Hey Pentax people, it's been a while since I posted here! But seeing this weekly challenge come by (on Facebook, thanks for posting it there) reminded me to submit something.
This was taken at a lovely stormy afternoon, with harsh winds, and a nice low sun. The silhouettes of these walkers just happened to merge, making them look like 3-legged persons haha. Lucky shot :)
