Hi All . K1 II & D FA 15-30 f/2,8 HD ED SDM WR.
Does anybody know how to avoid the bad black dark effect when shoting in HDR ADV mode with K1 ?
I've tried diffrent setup but it's still present.

Thank for your feedback. I'll take a look on Aurora HDR or ON1. Still investigate for the Pentax DCU.

Hello All,
I‘m having trouble with HDR pictures taken with K3 II or K1 II since few time. I post issue in the Digital Processing, Software, and Printing forum but this one looks more appropriate as trouble.
Using the last DCU , I can save an HDR picture (DNG ) to a TIF format but the saved picture has lot the HDR feature and looks regular. Also , when a such picture is moved to the laboratory ( see attached file ) the HDR effect doesn't appear. Recently, I could save an HDR (dng)to a tif without pb , I can’t figure out why it fails now! ? I do believe that the DCU is mandatory to display and save HDR pictures taken with Pentax stuff? Thank in advance for your help.

Yes ... but it should not' happen... Otherwise, the separate function works fine, I could extract originalfiles. For the moment, I am unable to save any HDR file to the Tif format usingthe last DCU rev. I am intent to move this issue to the troubleshootingsection. Thanks anyway :-)

Hello I come back with an issue when viewing HDR picture with the DCU . I joined a jpg to explain. Once loaded on DCU , the picture is a normal HDR ( taken with K1 II using HDR mode ) , next by opening the laboratory , the same picture has lost the HDR feature. Same pb when saving this picture (TIFF) , no longer HDR . I could use this DCU to make a TIFF HDR picture but something has recently changed and I can't fix it.... Thank in advance for your help

Thank for your answer. When the picture is loaded on the DCU software , it shows cleary that the picture is an HDR , by opening the labotarory , the same displayed picture has lost the HDR effect and looks like a regular picture...

Hello All
When saving a HDR pictures DNG (taken by K1 or K3) to a TIF format , the saved picture lost the HDR feature and looks regular without HDR effect. I’m using the last Pentax DCU (reinstalled twice). I could get that stuff working fine for a while but something has suddendly changed and I don’t know why . I also noticed that the HDR effect disappears when the picture is moved to the DCU laboratory .Any ideas ? Thank in advance

I own the famous 18-35mm Art from sigma and I'm waiting new available sigma product lens for the K-mount since a while but it looks that Sigma won't release any ...!? :-(

Hi
I have same stuffs and same behaviour. I had to send back 300 mm twice a year for service. With the K3 II and the 300mm (SMC DA* 300 F4 ED IF SDM)time to time, I lost indication on the screen, it could be the root cause, this issue do not rise up with my K3 and K30. I do suspect something wrong with the K3 II and this ( nice ) lens.
