I still have the E400, won't it be superfluous?

I only came to micro four-thirds this year, but have been very impressed. Have already gone through a GM1, original E-M5, and now rock an E-M5 ii. I pretty much keep the E-M5 ii with me all the time, with the 12-40 2.8 mounted on it (which I got for a steal). The 12-40 2.8 is the first decent zoom lens I've ever owned, and has impressed me as coming close to a 'bag of primes' for wide thru short-portrait use. If I want to get the size down, then I have a Panny 20mm that goes on it.

Really impressed with MFT so far. I still love my Pentax gear, but am enjoying MFT more and more. Here's a shot taken on my E-M5 ii a few months back.

I must say I do like the 4:3 format. For landscapes I think 3:2 (or 16:9) might be more suitable, but for general use I often prefer 4:3 or 5:4.

Animal magic continues, all with the Oly E-M1 and 40-150mm f2.8, a combo that has proved great for this kind of photography.
