These two photos were taken in Victoria, BC, Canada. We were walking around when we saw this beautiful landscape. This was one of the first time near this nice wharf. In my city, Cali, Colombia, we don't have this kind of landscapes. Thankfully, I was carrying my backpack with my Pentax, and a portable tripod. It took a few shoots but I am happy with the result. It was quite windy that day, so it was difficult to keep the camera still, but at the end everything was nice.

Hello everyone, I am here to learn more about the Pentax culture, and the community. I am a Pentax fan... I love Pentax quality and backward compatibility, the tough and light weight of their camera designs, the WR bodies... what can I say, it is awesome. Especially when you live in a place where it is raining most of the time.

I am new in the forum but and Old holder of a pentax k20d. Recently, I found a good deal on ebay for K-5 and I get one for my wife. I love to take photos and capture whatever is candy for my eyes. I am not a professional photographer. In fact, it is more like my hobbie. Right now I am living in Canada, but I am from Colombia. My first digital camera was a Nikon E4600 that I used during katrina the hurricane. From that moment I decided that I wanted to learn about photography. My second camera was a Panasonic DMC-TZ3, a good camera with more features than the first one. The Panasonic DMC-TZ3 help me to learn more about the light of the lenses, ISO, "rule of thirds" composition, etc. After a few years of get my DMC-TZ3 and a research of almost 3 months, I chose to buy my current camera, a Pentax K20D. It took me a lot to save enough money to get one, but It was totally worth. Since that moment she (yes, my pentax k20d is a female :) ) is one of my best companions in trips, hickings, and family moments.
