First of all, a big thanks to the forum owners for maintaining it clean, creative, productive and useful for newcomers.
After having spent months in the forum, I purchased a Pentax K-3 with DA 18-135 WR kit lens in May 2014. Words fall short to explain the build quality for K-3...Its built like a tank. So when somebody asked my why I am taking the camera and lens on the ferry ride under Niagara Falls, I asked them 'Which part of TANK, do you not understand'. It did exceedingly good throughout the trip and continues to do so in other projects.
I registered here after about 4000 actuations because I want to buy the Super Takumar 50mm lens. The articles posted are insightful, the discussions on which version of Tak (SMC, 7-element, 8 element, Super-Tak) provide enough information. I couldnt find other place that would be reliable and sell genuine old lenses (or maybe I am wrong).
Anyway, looking forward to learning more from all of you.
