Best Bathurst I've ever seen!!! I'm glad they suspended the race as it gave me a chance to get the bbq cooked without missing anything, lol!!!! I even watched the whole race again today when it was replayed. :)

Due to shutter problems (namely my finger going where it just shouldn't have gone!!!) I have learned that I will probably be up for lots of $$$ to fix this issue. Soooo - I got to thinking (& eBay) & have found that for just a little more outlay I can upgrade my camera from the K-x to a K-5. Now my question is I have 3 lenses that all fit on the K-x - will they also fit on the K-5?

I changed the batteries in the hope that's what the problem was when this first happened so it looks like I need to take it in to have it looked at & go from there.

Thanks for suggestions. They came through while I was waiting for the pic to upload. I'll try to do the sensor clean again - the correct way (I can't remember moving touching anything while using the blower but maybe I did without realising??????

Sounds like I've bumped something I shouldn't have. It sounded so easy to clean when I read the manual - I should have taken it to get it cleaned professionally. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. :) I'll have to take it in as I'm not game enough to try anything in case I make it worse!!

I have been scrolling through all these threads trying to find the answer to my problem before asking but I just can't find anything close to what I'm experiencing. I did a dust find, dust clear & then lifted the mirror to clean the sensor & now I have a dark shadow that covers three quarters of my shots. I can't see this shadow when using the view finder but on LV & on the shots on the memory card I can. I have a Pentax K-x. I've tried using two other lenses & the result is the same so I'm sure I've done something when I've tried to clear the dust. Is this something I can resolve or do I need to take it to a repair shop? I'll try to put up a couple of examples. Thanks in advance for any help.

Wow, thanks for the welcome, :) I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can. I'll put some shots up soon (if I'm game enough - I've seen the calibre of the shots here & they are amazing).

I have a Pentax MZ-50 & a Pentax K-x. I've had both for quite a few years & now it's time to learn how to use them to their full potential. I'm glad I found this site & it's already answered a lot of questions. :)
