Thanks Bill! I'm impressed by the detailed list of Pentax gear. Perhaps I should go through my outfit and list it all too.
I really like the optical qualities of Pentax lenses - excellent sharpness, even illumination and good bokeh. Distortion is a little high, but that isn't critical.
These are sweeping generalisations, I know, and there are variations between Pentax lenses. However these are the features that characterise Pentax glass for me, compared with Nikon or Canon glass, on the basis of having used a wide range of Pentax and Nikon lenses, plus a few from Canon.
I cannot express an opinion on the DA lenses for the small digital sensor as I haven't used any.
Now I am using Canon EOS 5D DSLRs with a variety of lenses, I would really like to discuss using Pentax lenses on a full frame DSLR.

Thanks Gary. I lived in Brighton for a while. I miss the place but I still visit when I can.
Whereabouts in California? And in Canada for that matter ...

Hi everyone,
I am a long time Pentax user (from 1972) living in London. I have had many Pentax bodies and lenses over the years and am currently using 50mm f/1.7A and 35-105mm f/3.5A Pentax lenses.
I am also using Canon EOS 5D DSLRs. I would be interested to hear people's experience with various Pentax lenses used with these DSLRs.
