That's a proper impressive shot that, parts of it are so sharp you could cut yourself if you look too hard.

Thanks chaps. It's still early days and I'm still exploring what some of the options do but I'm very chuffed.



The idea originally was to get a second body so I didn't have to faff around so much between short lenses and my Tamron 150-600 when I was out and about. With one permanently attached to the Tamron I could just leave it in optimal settings and pull it out my bag as and when I needed it, but the K5 fitted the bill better as a second body than the Sony A77 and I got a good deal at the time.

If they made the 150-600 in a Pentax fit (Highly unlikely) then I would consider switching completely, but my Sony and Pentax do compliment each other quite nicely.

Hi all,

I've acquired a K-5II as my second camera, being weathersealed it sounded like a great idea.

My first impressions are that is is ridiculously good, I'm very happy. I'm still keeping the Sony though for Sport/Wildlife...
