I had the wonderful chance to capture this image of Thor’s Well on the Oregon coast. I’ve been honing my photoshop blending and luminosity masking skills. Any cc is very welcome

I didnt like the d810s fixed screen, dual format cards, or extra cost (+600 refurbished)
The kp lacks a lot of what I love about the k3ii. I was disappointed CP came and went with no mention of a crop body flagship replacement.

Alternative method. Buy the most expensive lens first. This prevents you from buying anything else due to lack of funds.

Final update: Received my brand new k3ii body today, standard packaging straight from overseas. I did have to call them a week or two ago after going a few weeks with out word or the return label. That lead to a couple day wait while they figured out who it was that told me I would be getting this camera and getting me the label. I am instantly back in love with my k3 I have missed it so much these last two months.

I don't have my camera in front of me, but one of the shooting interval modes does a focus for each shot, so I have used that to snap off every second and then I can move and pose then pick the best shot out of the bunch since you can not see what its taking. This allows you to stop down and not worry about beign out of focus

I just took a quick look and what I saw was several low light pictures taken with probably the kit lens. The camera has to rack up the iso to compensate for the aperture in low light situations and as a result adds all the noise you see in a jpeg. I would recommend to try switching over to shooting in raw and getting Adobe Light room through the creative cloud for 10 a month. After that go on youtube and find learn light rooom but anthony morgantie and after maybe a couple hours of practice and his videos youre going to be much happier with the pictures you produce.
It also looks to me like either your main subjects frequently are not in focus 100% or just are not sharp. Im sure better people will come along with more advice.

Hey everyone Ive tried searching around here but had no luck.
What Im looking for is some of you professionals out there or otherwise skilled editors to give some input on the easiest way to learn lightroom.
Ive found a bunch of short posts here and there about how do do specific things but I'm looking for one thing to teach it to me start to finish that way the process doesn't change from teacher to teacher and help confuse me even more
On youtube I found this string of tutorials and Im wondering what some of you guys who use lightroom everyday think if you browse through a few videos of his. Youtu.be |

So far I made it to video five, I dislike how often he reteaches simple things video to video though which makes the process take far longer than it needs to, but overall I've learned a lot more than I have and faster than using the adobe online tutorial videos.
Ive also heard that there are a few books that are very good for learning from so anyone with a book recommendation or possible a website/youtube link would be greatly appreciated and would probably help a lot of us out.
