Hi,
Just to warn all members.
I also did receive an email form this philo about a lens I posted in the wanted objects category.
First he asked me to pay through Western Union, but I refused to do so.
Then he send me a paypal adress, but he said that he had to wait five days before he would ship the lens. He would only do so when the money was transferred from his paypall account to his bank account.
Luckily I did not pay yet, although he send me at least four or five reliable pictures of the lens I wanted to buy.
I wanted to sleep it one night over and I had to think.
And then I got this email from the Forum organisation about this 'member' philo. Of course I was very happy I did not pay yet.
What about other experiences with this seller?
Just beware!
Check your sellers before you pay.
Regards,
JML

Well, I do not use XP, but Windows Vista, when I do resize the font (making it bigger) the problem stays the same.
What kind of setting do I have to change then if it is a setting problem according to Adam?
I think if members could read everything clear before the change, then that should be possible after any change, but that's only my opinion.
I do not like to change to another browser, :(

Hi Adam,
First the link was n't there: so my comment was about this page of this Forum:
No, not at this moment. All fonts are looking fine now, well only a bit fragile but that has to do with the amount of boldness I guess.
Well, now I notice that the italic font in the quoted message is looking the same as the bad readible font looked before.
But the normal text - like this one - is good readable.
So the italic font in the quoted text is still not good readable now, the normal text is indeed better.

Hi Adam,
Well I do not have a font named "Open Sans".
I do have a font that is named: "Gill Sans" and the character (or type) is "Open Type". Might this be the one?
Well , I see I do have also a font named "Lucida Sans", in different styles, both Open Type and True Type.

Hi Adam,
Yes I can read the text clear now, and I made no changes myself to achieve that.
Although I do find the text font rather tiny and thin, the letters are now formed in one straight line, and not with flaws in it.
So, it's getting better, but to my opinion the font can be a little more bold.

I do use Firefox 5.0 (that's up to date right now) and Windows Vista.
Is this compatible with the new design? For me it isn't right now.
I installed a Firefox add on for "aliasing" which is something I do not know what it is, but is doesn't change anything. Must I do something with this add-on?
What do I have to do to see clear text?
Please do explain this in common english without using too much technical computer knowledge.
Ty for leading me out of the dark.

Well, this is the only site where I met this problem of really bad readible text.
I go back to the old lay-out until this problem is solved.
I do not have the impression that something is wrong with my settings since I have never experienced this before.
I use Windows Vista and Firefox as browser.

Hello,
The letters is this new design are dancing in front of my eyes. They are not exactly black but more or less black/grey. It disturbs me a lot while I'm reading any message. It gives me dizzyness and a pain in my eyes.
Please can this be solved?
JML
Ty very much.

Hi Alfisti,
Those are excellent shots, and even more on your site.
I do like that mystic feeling of that bridge!
I have this lens too, just bought in a set, but never took it out yet.
Your pictures make me go wandering with it!
Thank you,.

Hi David,
You might have come up with a splendid deal here. Thanks for your positive interpretation, :).
Are there really that many taxes if it is shipped to Canada? Can't it be sent as a "gift"? In that case you might be the one who can practice some time with this lens,.
Of course, if taxes to Canada aren't that high I can pay them, but if they are too high I prefer somebody within the US.
Any philantropes left there in the US, after the crises in the bank environment?
Come on guys or girls, you're more than welcome!
Thanks for thinking it over, :o.

Hello fellow members on this Forum,
I would like to buy this lens and the owner would like to sell it to me also, wasn't it for the fact that I can pay only by Paypal and I live in Erope.
Unfortunately seller Weberpoint can will only accept cheques and is not in the circumstances to ship to Europe as he says.
Is there anybody from the US who would buy this lens for me and than ship it to Europe?
Ofcourse I'll pay you back and send you something for the effort, :).
Thanks for any help, :).
Friendly greetings,
JML

Dear Netuser,
As you can read it is a rule that you put up a price in your add.
Now it looks like a kind of auction, and that is not permitted here.
Look at the rules at the top of the Marketplace thread.
Kind regards,
JML

Hello,
I can't agree with this nomination, since I had a very bad experience with this person this year. This person did want me to pay a higher price than he asked although until then no-one wanted to buy for the price he asked. And then he broke his already given word to sell it to me. Instead of that he sold it to someone else.
So, best salesman? That would be a true laugh,.
When I made a comment about this behavior earlier, he got mad and spreaded all kinds of lies about me around on this forum, which will probably be the consequence now too. But seriously: isn't that kind of reaction typical then?
Anyway, this list is a good idea, but let everyone vote for it.
People with such habits should not be honoured, in my modest opinion.
Kind regards,
and happy christmas and so on,
