Christmas tree LED's and regular lighting LED's are not a good comparison.
These are all LED recessed downlights.

Actually, led bulbs are available in warm tinted light too or I’d never have fitted them at home. Back at the start it was daylight style only but other colour temperatures are available. Or you can buy some which will vary to most of the colours of the rainbow: you too can live in a discotheque. :o

So long as nobody snitches! My lips are sealed..... ;)
Mind you, led bulbs are great until one fails and you can’t remember how many lumens ya need and you’re sure the last one didn’t cost that much!!

Well it isn't quite that simple.
To get diesel fuel requires a little bit of refining.
To get gasoline (petrol or benzine for you more classic types), even more refining and blending is required.
This all takes energy, and chemistry.

Add to that the hazard and difficulty of distributing and storing hydrogen, and the lack of an infrastructure for doing so. The fuel cells are still expensive to make, too (even though some claim they're able to make them without platinum now - or soon...).
Still, a mix of electric and hydrogen might be a viable solution for long haul trucks. At least Daimler seems to think so.
As for fossil fuel, it is a limited resource and should be treated as such. The way we've burnt a lot of it to propel highly inefficient one-ton lumps of steel along to transport (most of the time) a single person is bordering on insanity.

Disappointing. I hope it's just a software bug/deficiency.

101 AF points, 25 of which are cross-type, so 76 (basically 3/4, or 75%) are linear-type, I guess? That's a little bit funny to me for some reason. Still better than a D7500 on spec sheet, though.

It seems to be a little pricy if it is around $2000. Actually, people may choose K1 instead for its full frame and strong performance, not to mention other wonderful mirrorless cams made by Nikon, Sony, or whatever.

There might have been more, but I can find only six Swedish pilots serving in the RAF during WWII. One of them, though, Ulf Christiernsson, is said to be the first Allied pilot to meet a Messeschmitt 262 - in his unarmed photo reconnaisance Mosquito. Eight minutes and a missing wing tip later he managed to escape into some clouds and limp across the Channel (lacking the fuel to go back to his base in Italy). I can well imagine him saying something about both Fockers and Messerschmitts :D
Another, Gustaf Lönnberg, was shot down on a bombing raid and was captured, but managed to escape via Switzerland back to England where he became a test pilot. By the end of the war he had clocked in some 5,000 hours in 119 different types of airplanes.
Tage Ståhlenberg served with the Norwegian RAF fighter squadrons based in the UK.
You need both guts and conviction to join a war while your own country remains neutral. Well, "neutral".

It would be good to be the driver, and not the loader.
It would be better to not stall the engine.

Maybe I can answer that.
1. Rock climbing
2. Rock climbing
3. Because it was there.
In my youth I had the urge to climb any rock face I saw. It faded with age. It's still there but my mature inner self says "don't even think about it"

In other news: A South Dakota man was today seen running from the house after his wife of many years discovered his computer browsing habits. Neighbours heard her describing him as a "Sick, sick man". :p

That reminds me of the story of the guy who's .22 pistol saved him from a bear attack.
He and his friend were hunting moose in Alaska when a grizzly wandered into their camp. Their rifles were out of reach and the bear was approaching them. They were both experienced hunters and knew better than to run.
When the bear started started advancing on them he pulled his little Beretta .22 out of his pocket, shot his buddy in the knee, and calmly walked away.

More Boxer stories for the fans:-
An insurance salesman noticing a customer’s Boxer dog remarked “You won’t have much trouble with burglars" and told of his other customers with a Boxer who came home to a broken into, trashed home, except for the kitchen where the dog was. Having expressed themselves freely and at length on how rubbish a guard dog they had, they started to clean up the mess. The wife was a little surprised when she swept a finger from under a radiator beside the kitchen door...
Another couple came home to find their house broken into and the Boxer pleased to see them. Nothing was missing, in fact apart from the entry, nothing seemed to be touched. They went from room to room, checking, but still nothing seemed missing. Then, in an upstairs store room, perched on a tall piece of furniture, they found the burglar, holding his torn wrist and well on his way to complete exsanguination. (bleeding to death)
Finally there was the Hogmanay party which wound up around 2am as the guests went off to party with other friends. The son of the house had nodded off in an armchair but woke sometime after 3 to see the Boxer fully alert and tensed to spring, staring at the curtains. As the son watched, the fingers of two hands parted the full-length curtains and the dog sprang with a bark. Dog and fingers disappeared so son ran outside to see what was happening, only to see a frantic figure jumping garden wall after garden wall with dog in hot pursuit.

Yes, that must be it. I'll go look for it in Jotunheimen in August.
And later, when you lot get a handle on that stupid virus, I'll go back and have another look for it in the Kalahari.
You know, they say some of the camps even have window cleaners :D Youtu.be |
