Just recently purchased a K2 off of flea bay (for more than I wished but it came with a nice prime so i figured why not) The big question now is: where do I send it for a overhaul tuneup?

Great capture and composition- bet the color version is pretty spectacular as well.

cport It was a really good day and a really cold one as well. we relied on just natural lighting, the universe made it happen and we were just there to capture the right moment...patience and grace (btw the color version is even better)
The surfers earned every wave they got and we managed a few good photos from the session ta boot ;) pretty epic! and thank you for the kind compliment, Aloha TDI

there is so much more headroom in RAW to play with in PP why be strangled with Jpeg low IQ? shoot RAW and learn to use the right tools in PS and youll never look back Aloha T

Sigma 70-300 Macro(red ring) on tripod- i forget what the sweetspot is for the f stop for that leans is- its inexpensive and takes one heck of a photo when you get it set up properly

K-3 for the Win! we shoot with compensation -.07 it allows faster shutter rates/ more depth of field f stop etc etc- post processing anything in shadow gets lifted and you have not lost any highlights- just one of my secrets shooting with my K-3
the sensor in the K-3 always has given me better images than my friends shooting canon.(maybe its the person behind the lens?) aloha T

Love my K-3
On my second body now after first K-3 body AF engine pooped out on me prematurely :( I could get a gently used body for 1/2 the cost of the repair, so I did, and it is still a great camera body IMHO, very capable for many situations if you know how to get the most out of it :P causing Canon users fits of envy at the pictures it can take... lets hope the next incarnation of the K-3 is a even better camera we <3 the 24MP file size is about right(files are not huge),... lightning AF... faster burst... bigger buffer and better low light ISO range would give the competition nightmares :P
