Not to be a party pooper here but having an EVF eliminates these exposure issues mentioned here. WYSIWYG is quite powerful. But of course an OVF has its own benefits.

Thanks got my IV version and works like a charm on K5IIs. Wish the flash interface sat in tighter. I think the version III I bought and return was a bad copy. This one works. nicely made for $71

Does the 560 IV fire on the camera hotshoe?. I had the 560 III and was never able to get it fire. When mounted, it will do a test flash than recycle light will stay on. Looks as if the flash froze. push test button to get the flash flashing again but no response. Couldn't change settings either. Is this normal, thanks

I would definitely be in the market for more resolution. search on Google for 645Z Flickr and check the pictures out. There are some amazing detailed portraits and photos. Lots of night scenes too and what really amazed me was that most of the pictures were taken outside not in the studio. I had this weird notion that medium format was used for products and studios only. But heck no!! People use it outdoors. Haha anyways I'm all in on possibilities of more resolution.

Don't know if there are deals in Norway but here in the U.S. Pentax's previous flagship K5iis is being sold for a killer price $549 brand new and with battery grip. And I believe some of the vendors here do ship internationally. But if you really have set your mind on the K3 than I believe they are being sold new as well with battery grip for $798-$898 at the same vendors. Worth checking it out. Hope that helps.

Just from my own personal observations, I think Pentax will come out with a full frame camera for under $1500. Looking at their past adaptations of sensors I see a pattern of Pentax being late to using the most advanced sensors. Of course except the 645Z. But Please keep in mind this is not a negative it's actually something I really enjoy about Pentax they would rather make a solid built camera and use a fairly new sensor and cut costs there. For example the Sony APS-C 24mp sensor, it has already been used extensively in the Sony a65/a77, Nikon d5200, d7100 and all those cameras have been released quite before the K3. But the K3 is still considered Pentax's flagship camera body for APS-C . Same could be said of Sony 16mp still found in the K5iis but not currently found in any other companies cameras on the market (sorry except Leica's T cameras).
Pentax will once again follow that strategy and use the Sony full frame 24mp already found in the Nikon d600/610 and Sony a99 and A7 cameras. Being late to adopting that sensor Pentax will be able to sale the camera to us at a discount. I'm all for it if it comes with Pentax's built quality. So I'm definitely quite excited with Pentax full frame announcement .

Handling will never be on par with a dslr or mirrorless camera.

This lens has no weather sealing so might actually do some harm to the camera body as well. Definitely wouldn't take this lens out in the rain. Small drizzle maybe but heavy downpour not a good idea. Warranty won't cover water damages.
