I was also using a 1.2 Pentax Tele-converter and a +3 and +5 Hoya Acromat close up filters, shooting at a distance of .75 inches.
I gave this shot the name of "Looking At You" |

This plant was saved by my wife from the Christmas of 2013. Lived outside under a tree last summer, then we brought it back inside for the winter. Lo and Behold, without any special care other than food and water she bloomed for us...and my wife spotted the "honeydew" drops.
I shot this in natural light with my K-2000 using the new Pentax DA-1.4X Converter attached to the Pentax DA 35mm Macro Limited about f22.:)

Hello fellow Pentaxians, a quick photo of my newest acquisitions...a complete (for me) totally all Pentax system based around the K-3 :D
After reading all the reviews and posts that I could find submitted on the forum, and reviews from other sources, I made the leap. Got most of the items from B&H and the case from Abe's o' Maine. Not shone is the Sky-Watcher All-View mount for astro-imaging...something I've wanted to be able to do since I was a kid.

I'm interested in this mount system, my question is this-does the maker also have a shutter release cable for the Pentax K-3?
Thanks

I'm looking at one of these also...my question is can you adapt a graflex lens to this kind of bellows?

This was a pond in the park full of all these leaves and pollen fronds from the surrounding trees. The colors were astounding...:)

Hello All,
Long time Pentax film user (K1000)...finally jumped off and bought my first DSLR a few years back, a Pentax K2000. My wife has been digital for a while with one of the other brands. I still wanted to be able to use all my film lenses that took me so long of a time to build up. That's when I found out about the K2000, and that I would be able to use them in a manual mode.
I love being able to shoot and shoot and shoot, not having to worry if I had the correct exposure, or enough film to last a walk-about, or PAYING for all the developement costs...just shoot what I see, delete later...:D
I founfd this site trying to find a simple polarizing filter for my 500mm miror lens, not happening. I found out from one of the posters who explained why I couldn't find filters..Tokina made it so! Oh well!
Now I'm looking at getting really serious about DSLR's....the Pentax K-3 Premium Silver Edition kit with the battery grip from B&H. I've read so many GOOD reviews about this new Flafship model, can't wait. Feels like being a kid again, like the time I got my hands on a REAL camera...a Graflex Century Graphic with a Schneider-Kreuznach Super Angulon Synchro-Compur 65mm wide angle lens. Only wish I could figure out a way to convert it to a digital back...now that would be a camera system!
Anywho, thanks for the welcome and keep shooting....cameras that is:lol:
