12-24 is perfect. Dont do anything. If you walk alone in late night maybe 04.00 or so. but in daytime and in public places nothing is happening

I live in greece too. Autumn and spring the sky is really beautiful so a wide angle lens for landscapes is a must. A light tripod will help you much, but you can buy a cheap one here for about 20$ do your job with it and then leave it here :D. You will probably pay much more if you have heavy or big luggage on the plane. A long telephoto lens it wont be useful because we dont have unusual animals here but we have lots of birds, so if you like birding bring one telephoto lens otherwise no.
Have a nice trip

K50 is my first dslr too, if you dont have any experience i suggest you to watch some youtube videos to cover the basics such as ISO, f, shutter speed and focal lenght. There are many free books online also. After this take a look for a post proccesing suite like lightroom or whatever you like
I dont know what kind of photography you do but the kit lens should be ok for anything.
Happy shooting

Well for wedding photography i think nikon is the only way. better af and better flash sync. The FF is not must for everyone, i think that only few people fill benefit from the larger sensor. If you are doing photography for fun i think its overkill.
The Pentax-Ricoh is allive due to the k mount and the legacy lenses. Not for the sensor, af system, or high technology. If they take away the k mount the game is over.

Take the camera, dont look back. If you keep searching for lower prices you will not buy anything at all.

Maybe im the only one who things that pentax-ricoh should not release a full frame camera..
I think that it would be better if they focus on aps-c and medium format instead

I had the same trilemma as you. The reasons i rejected the 3000 series are, the price is too close to the 5000 series and the 5000 is much more better, no body stabilization in case that i wanted to use legacy lenses. When i was taking photography classes the most people there had nikon d3200 d3300 and 5200. The 5200 is a verry good option compared tho the other choices it has an articulated screen better af system etc, But the pentax is an absolute beast for still photography, in body stabilization, weather sealed much better view finder. if you want theese two things you have to go either nikon 7000 series or canon 60d or 70d. I bought the k50 cause i liked the custom colours. I think that you should consider the k5IIs

i have the 2500k too, but i dont do videos on my pc. the 8350 is faster on some application such as photoshop but not much faster from 2500k. i think that you need a new motherboard to support your needs (more usb ports etc)
mine 2500k is currenty running at 4.8 ghz for almost one year
