I'm really impressed with this shooter. Not only does it shoot pretty well even over 1600 ISO, higher than that then grains begin to show.
Fast focus, awesome and impressive bokeh and to mention its superior macro shots. Hoping to learn more about the camera from the other users too:)

I'm having a better time with the Q than my canon, quality may be a little than the canon but the enjoyment that you get with the Q is different:)

I bought a Pentax Q out of impulse, never knew what it's strengths and weaknesses are but I knew this little pocket had something special. It came with the 01 lens and it did shoot fairly well. After reading through the forums about the lenses it has I bought the 03 and fell in love with the Q even more. It's one of the widest lenses I've had. While thinking of a new item to purchase, I've read about the MX1 and saw the macro shots and portraits from some of our users here in and I immediately placed an order of a new pentax MX1 and had it shipped right away here in the Philippines. There's something with Pentax that really caught my heart, so much for being a canon user for years. I guess my canon's gonna be in the shelf for now.

Ordered an MX-1 to go along with my Q + 03 Lens.... this set up gives me the best of both wide, portrait and macro shots:)

Went to different city malls here in the Philippines and was able to capture cool night HDR shots... hoping to go to famous places soon for the holidays:) Merry Christmas Everyone:)

Awesome pictures guys.
I got my Pentax Q the other day and having been a canon Rebel user for years I decided to add the Pentax Q to my gear. I played and familiarized myself with it and to be honest this little pocket packs a punch. Here are some shots I captured since I bought it. Indeed a new happy pentax owner here. I'm using a 01 lens and I'm planning to buy 03, 06 and 08 as soon as I get finalize my pick.

Guys, Im new to Photography and new to Pentax as well. I like to try taking timelapse videos. Does the Pentax Q have a timelapse mode? or a feature that does it? Or do you have to edit it in a software? I heard that you can do it directly on the camera. I might be wrong. Hoping to hear from you:)

1. Wow alright that gave me a piece of mind
2. Has anyone tried the 08 lens, saw it on youtube and it did a hefty good job for a wide angle shot. What other lenses can you suggest for taking wide angle shots?
3. Tried the flash and it only worked on M mode.
4. How do you do a timelapse video with the Q? Saw it somewhere that it has a built in timelapse mode.. where and how do you shoot it? Or do you edit it outside? Thank you so much OLE!!:cool:

Hi guys, I'm Paul from the Philippines and I'm basically a newbie into the Pentax world. I recently bought a Pentax Q and I have a few questions and I hope I get to know more about the camera from you guys.
1. Just want to ask is it normal on the battery charger from the Pentax Q that it lights up green right away?
2. How many clicks does a one full charge make?
3. What lens and flash should I get as an additional to it?
4. Does my nissin flash work with it? (I use it for my Canon 550d)
