I see a lot of people here have put this thing on their pentax q's.

But, I'm a bit unsure how exactly it works. I'm a bit new to these types of cameras. Isn't the focal length on the viewfinder fixed? If so, is it useful at all? Is it only useful with the q01 lens?

Could someone be so nice as to explain this noobie how it works? :lol:
