1. tamron 17-70 2.8 xr diII,
2. pentax 18-135 3.5-5.6 al {if} dc wr
3. pentax 16-45 f4 ed al.
Was thinking of selling the 16-45. Great lens but appears doo not need the coverage

Is there a quality difference between k20 and k7 weather resistance. Trying to decide which to make my rain camera.

My K7 got knocked off a table and onto a hardwood floor last night. The lens filter broke Everything else looks ok.. How do I see what else might have been damged, knocked out of alignment, etc.

Have K 20 and K7 and was thinking of selling and getting the K5. Is the K-5 that much of a upgrade/improvement vs the K7. Don't do a lot of high ISO photography

Just got a new 70-200 and 17-50 from Tamron. Can someone simply give a step by step way to evaluate the lenses. What to photograph, what to look for etc.
maybe we can sort of standardize the approach so when talking about a lens everyone is on the same page.

For those of you who do weddings, what bag do you use. With 2 cameras, the 2.8 lenses and backups of everything. Lots of stuff.

Called sigma. they advised me that they will be producing no more of the non OS 70-200 models. for all cameras, including pentax the 70-200 lens will will have the OS.

I am not sure if it is just a case that I am the first to admit it or if it is really part of growing old and eyesight. However after reading, reviewing, looking at all the pictures, especially in the tamron sigma discussion, am I the only one that either does not see or barely see all the differences that my colleagues are talking about. It is just the eye of the IQ perfectionist speaking or do I need practice?
If taking pictures at weddings, do the customers, the lay people, actually see these differences that are being pointed out?

Been trying to decide between the sigma and tamron lenses and the comment is always made that the tamron is sharper. Howevr between the adjustment that can be made on the k-7 ( not sure about the K20) and PP, what difference does it make which lens itself is sharper.

With the 16-50 and any 70-200 lens there is a 50-70 gap. To any one that has this combo- do you miss the gap.

I use to have the Pentax 28-105 and 100-300 power zoom lenses as my walk arounds and figure nothing can weigh more than those.

The sigma 70-200 hsm for pentax will not be available until Oct. Shows you where Pentax stands in the heirachy of importance for them.

right now just the pentax a something 360. have a older flash from my PZ1 days that I figure can use off camera somehow. Otherwise open to suggestions.
