At my previous job I had quite close contacts with Canon, Nikon and Ricoh. Thanks to the good relationship, I had the chance to test some good FF cameras, for example Canon EOS 5 Mk-II (I used one for some 2 years at work), Mk-III and EOS 1Dx. Also tried some comparable Nikons as well. When the new Pentax FF comes out, I'll need to find some reason to visit the good-old business partners and ask a camera to take a test...

Hi all,
I am Bela, a guy from Hungary, an aviation engineer and doing photography since my age of 5. I'm glad to have found this forum.
I became a Pentax user by accident but really got to love this brand! It happened that before my first flight to Canada, in Brasov, Romania I was attacked on the street. I managed to disarm the robber but my good-old Chinon CM-3 was dropped and broke, unrepairably. I did not buy a replacement then and two days later my plane took a south approach in Toronto, at noon, there was a precious view, just some hundreds feet above the Niagara falls and I had NO camera!!! I promised to myself that I won't return home till I buy a new SLR. Thus, on my way home I bought my first Pentax camera, a 35mm MZ-50. At the start of my digital age, I bought the second one, an Optio MX-4. It's still operable, I use it to take video clips and sound records. The last one is a K20D, more precisely, the second K20D because the first was stolen... The lenses I currently use are a 35-135 Asahi-Pentax, a 28-80 mm and a 18-200 mm Tamron. Sometimes I also take my friend's 85 mm soft Pentax for portrait shots.
