Cool thanks! I forgot to ask this as well. I know the Pentax 645z files don't work on Capture one but if I convert the files to dng will it work?

Pentax 75mm vs 90mm?

I am looking at renting the Pentax 645z for a few days and trying to decide which lenses to get. I have a few questions regarding this rental.

#1 I have a pentax 67 and a 105mm 2.2 will the 105mm work on the 645? Or will I need an adapter because it a different format?

#2 I am looking at the newer 90mm ED AW lense and was wondering what the difference (if any) of that and the 75mm 2.8 other than the obvious focal lense and leaf shutter.

#3 Similar question to #1 but will the 75mm AL work for the 645z?

Thanks in advance!

Pentax 67 Sync speed

Hello everyone
Just got my Pentax 67 for Christmas and I was wondering what the sync speed for that camera with a 105 2.4 lense on it would be? I think I saw somewhere that it is 1/30th but I wasn't sure if that was accurate given the source. Also if I get a leaf shutter lense like the 90mm the sync speed won't matter because the lense is a leaf shutter is that correct? Thanks in advance!

Minimum focus distance Extension tube for Pentax 67

Tuco - thanks for the manual I was looking for something like that. So 1.6 and that means open up 1.6 stops did I understand that correctly?

LFLEE- I don't think I would ever use No 3 just because of the focus issues that arise with that.

gofour3- I would but my lense is bent and I think that happened in shipping so I can mount anything on that and I think .27x is a little close for what I need it for.

Thank you everyone!

Hey Tuco
Ya your samples are about as tight as I would ever want it to be. I just didn't want to buy the set if I didn't have to and will never use #2 or #3.

I have just purchased a Pentax 67 with a 105 2.4 lense. Amazing and I love it. I want to be able to shoot close up portraits and was wondering what extension tube should I purchase 1, 2 or 3? What their correlating minimum focus distance is. I would like to just buy one tube and I think #1 will get me what I want but I am not certain. I just want the face of the person to fill the frame much like Martin Schoellers close ups work to give you a point of reference. Let me know thanks!
