Mine is actually wrapped up for christmas :D
I was able to test the lens on my k3 at my local electronic shop and i'm quite happy with the lens. I might post some sample shots during this or next week.

I looked it up and noticed something odd: I felt like i've just read it in german. I looked that up as well and yes, you posted the same review in the german dslr-Forum, which is quite funny :D

I think I have to reask:
Does this lens have aspherical elements? The Name suggests no but the construction plan says yes.

yeah you're right, I just got too used to my SMC Pentax-M 50mm f1.4; it's just gorgeous... but you have to admit that this is a mess.

the areas behind the focus are looking terrible. Just look at the tree on the second image, I think it's due to the "nervous" bokeh. It looks like the CAs behave like purple fringing. :(

my most favorite site for lens reviews is lenstip.com. They haven't tested many Pentax lenses yet, but they're reviewing the lenses quite detailed; I like their charts for the sharpness, which allow you to compare the sharpness over a certain FOV and aperture quickly. Let's judge over other things than just sharpness. Contrast is an important part of the IQ as well. IMO the contrast seems pretty decent. Flaring seems to be nicely controlled as well, thanks to the HD-Coating.
