Thank you all for the replies. I decided to go with the lowepro flipside 400 aw. I was browsing the net I found one on eBay for $109 or best offer, the seller accepted my offer of $60 with free shiping ... Hopefully it will be here by the 5th or 6th of July. I decided in the 400 over the 300 due to the rain cover and the extra room, which my wife will quickly fill with non essential gear, but at least I will spare her the weight of a bag as we walk through Vienna and Bulgaria.
Once again, thank you all for the prompt and helpful suggestions.

I like the idea of a full camera bag as the one u linked. Since u use it , does it have enough space for 2 bodies with lenses and 2 additional ?

Sling backpacks are great, but will not fit all the gear that I will be taking. I will be spending a week in Vienna and i plan to walk a lot so the 2 straps of the backpack will be more comfortable on my back. As for the gear, my wife will be using some of it, so the 2 bodied are a must.

Hello, I'm planing a trip to Europe in a month and i need your advise on a backpack. I was looking to get a camera backpack to fit my gear. I'm planing to take my k-7 and k-5iis for lenses my 18-55 wr, pentax 55-300, tamron 17-50, zenitar 16mm and probably I will get a da 50mm along with small tripod, chargers and remote. I do have 2 sling backpacks for the individual cameras at home but I was hoping to get one backpack to carry it all. I'm not looking to spend more than $70 as I plan to use it mainly ones per year for travel. So far I have been looking online, but without the ability to see the products in person it's hard to make a decision. So I would like to ask all of you for advice on what backpack would fit it all within the budget of 70 bucks. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you all.

Greece is a wonderful place and it seems that u have made your mind about it. But if i was you, I would take into consideration the refugee issue they have at the moment, and be careful. Also another alternative to consider might be Bulgaria. It's just north of Greece and if you are looking for nature and recreational places, it's full of. Take my word for it( it's my birth country ). Between the beaches and the mountains there is a lot history and ancient sites, some of which predate the Greeks. And if you get out of the bigger cities some places will take you back into the 19th century or even further back. That's said your $$$ will stretch even further as the Bulgarians do not use the euro and the exchange rate will be in your benefit.

Well, i had an extra cable as well, that i used with my old remote (that got busted) both cables with have a straight and 90 degre connection, and both don't work properly when the 90 degree jack is pluged into the k-5iis , but it doesn't matter with the k-7.... So i don't know what might be the issue, but at least it works one way so, I'm ok with it. I dont have the time to return and re order due to leaving the country for vacation in 9 days...

Wow, thank you for everybody's responses! I checked my all of your suggestions and i have it all set the right way, but i found out that what affects the AF is the cable .... If i have the jack thats its at 90degrees connected to the camera and the straight at the remote, it does not work, but if i reverse... It works as intended... I lnow it sounds silly but that is the only thing i change. But still on the k-7 the jack orientation does not matter...

I just purchase a vello freewave wireless shutter release remote and to my suprise it won't autofocus on my k-5iis. I tried it will my old k-7 and it works just fine. I also tried different lenses on both cameras and it refuses to focus on my k-5iis regardles of the lens, but still worka fine witht the k-7( same lenses used on both). Any idea what might be the problem? Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you

What about the k-5ii(s)? Still good upgrade and not as pricey, leaves a room for a lens upgrade ... A while back I wet this road from a k-7 to k-5iis because of high iso issues with the k-7 and added a tamron 17-50 for the price of a k-3. So far the k-5iis has been great and the tammy I just got recently, don't have an opinion on it yet...but the point being, don't have to upgrade to the last model of the flagship since the one before is almost on par and a half the price...

Thank u for all of your replies, I really like the idea 16mm gain but still not sure if I will miss the f2.8 for indoor shots. I'm planning a trip to Brazil and Peru and I was thinking the faster aperture would be nice for indoors, but then again for me the wider the better... Still can't make up my mind...

Help, looking to buy a lens in the wide to short telephoto. I have been looking for the sigma/tamron 17-50, lately I've been thinking about to combo of 16-45 and tokina 28-70 as well. Used they will be the same as a new 17-50 ($500ish). I'm afraid to go and get the 17-50 from ebay/Japan having read about the problems with the QC of the lenses.Any suggestions on the matter will be appreciated. Thank u.

I suppose I should've been more detailed, my apologies.
I'm into photographing mostly landscapes and cityscapes... Not much about people, and I'm looking for ideas such as Iguasu falls, the statue of Christ in Rio, and some advices in and around Sao Paulo such as MASP building cathedral do Pe, Petra Grande.
That's all I can come up so far on my own I'm looking around Sao Paulo and Rio for now, as those two cities will be on the list. I would like to stick to the eastern side between RJ and just south of SP.
I have a link to my Flickr account for general idea of what I like to shoot I suppose I should've been more detailed, my apologies.

Hello, I'm planing a mouth trip to Brazil in July to see my wife's family. The family is in Sao Paulo, but we will have plenty of time to go around... So far the only point of interest that we have chosen is Machu Picchu, Peru (on the return back to the states...)
My question to you guys and gals is where else in brazil is worth going to? My bucket list has the following: Iguasu falls, Amazon river, Rio(a little concerned about Rio's hight crime as I don't speak the language), southern part of Brazil beaches- S.C.
So far besides Sao Paulo I have two and a half weeks to fill in the blanks...
Also a recomendations about what gear to take with me ? I have the k-7 and the k-5iis lens wise zenitar 16mm and the kit 18-55/55-300. I would like to purchase another lens but I'm torn between the tam/sigma 17-50 or 2x-7x mm of tamron, sigma or tokina.
I would appreciate any advices or recomendations about places or lenses about the trip.
Thank you all
Nikolov.

Congratulations on the buy! 40mm Ltd., a great lens, but still, what else your budget can get you? I personally would love to have the Da*16-50 and Tam. 70-200 2.8, but so far it's way out of budget for the time being, that said I will take 2 fast zoom over the one slower walk around, also what is your most used focal range? What other brand camera/lenses are you coming back from? Ultimately it's entirely your decision what will serve you best

Looks great for walk around lens, if u don't have one... I personally would like something faster on the 200 end if it's in the budget. What other lenses you have? For my self, one WR is a must in the kit wheather is the 18-55 or the 18-135. I don't have the 18-135 for pentax, but had it in canon mount and was my walk around lens paired with the 55-300, if I needed the extra reach and slightly faster at the 200/300 end
