Kicking myself because I forgot to check back on the meets and missed the 29th.. and now can't make it to the 13th one due to previous obligation.
Nevertheless, I'm pledging my determination to show up at some point! :)

vizjerei, I got your PM, thanks for taking the trouble to send them out - I'd love to come to a meetup.
The week of the 29th works for me, though with the inevitable commute I'd prefer the afternoons. Either way, I'll keep an eye on this thread!

I'm a new K20D owner, and though I have a propensity for lurking, I thought I'd at least introduce myself. :)
I've been taking photos in some way or another for a long time, from "Stop wasting vacation film on bugs!" to "Here's a digital point-and-shoot, happy birthday, and we're not developing another roll of bugs/particularly interesting twig!" to "Ooh, I am so artistique and fancy with my moody images of *abstract!*" to "Okay. I have a DSLR. When do the commissions and money come pouring in?" ;)
Seriously, I'd actually like to do this professionally one day. I've only just graduated from uni where I studied English (haven't even gotten the papers yet!) so it's not too late. I'm eager to pick up any knowledge I can from you all. :)
