The DA 300mm lens has great IQ alone, and with the 1.4TC. Mine lived on my K3 and Its still in use a bit on the K3III. The downside is the SDM motor and no focus limiter.

The top display on my K3III doesn't show the metering symbol for Multi segment metering. It displays spot, center weighted and Highlight weighted but is blank when I select Multi Segment metering?
What am I missing or doing wrong?

It's here! It's large compared to my other Pentax lenses, but not so large when compared to the Canon lenses I have.
Superb construction and feels great attached to the K3III. Just shooting stuff in my living room at 50mm f2.8 it appears very sharp wide open.
Friday, I will take some photos of my friends band and see how it goes.
