For Christmas 2014 we spit roasted a whole hundred pound hog in our back yard, in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands. This photo shows the fire pit we constructed and the beautiful warm flames it produced. It was an excellent opportunity for me to try out the night capabilities of my new pentax camera. Hope you enjoy the result and a very Happy 2015 to all.

Hello Fellow Pentax users. Decided to purchase a K3 for my birthday last month after years of shooting with Olympus and Lumix Cameras, and looking forward to the improved image quality I have heard so much about. I am in the Caribbean right now, where I work and Live, will receive my camera and accessories from the States this weekend. I can't wait to have a play and post some future photos. I am a sport fishing charter captain so most of my photos will be of scenes out on the water, boating, fishing and beaching. We also have a good variety of birds to photograph which I would like to get into. I have started out with the Sigma 17-50 and 18-250 lenses as well as Pentax 35 2.4 and 50 1.8 as my starter lenses but any advise from you Guys and Girls would be most appreciated.:)
