I just love this camera. I am new to DSLR cameras and love the quality of the pics that I get with this base model. If anyone is thinking of getting a cheap quality camera with value packed then this is the one for you.:) I have taken this camera around the world in the last year and never had any trouble with it.

I have tryed a few of the free software packages, but have not found anything that suites. Iwill keep trying though.:)

I am looking to edit some of my pics and am having a hard time choosing the right software that is easy to use. My PC is quite new so running any programs should not be a problem. Most people that I talk to say Adobe photoshop is the best, but I don't want to rush into a purchase without the some more advise. Can you help?:hmm:

Thanks guys this info is realy going to help me as I am going to be away for 5 weeks. Today I purchased UV filters for both lenses, but am having trouble knowing what tripod or monopod to that away with me. I know that some are bulky and hard to carry around. Could anyone suggest a good lightweight option that's also compact. I have limited good camera stores in my city that might stock better brands so It is likely that I may have to purchase one online or when I am In Las Vegas.

I am new to photography in a way as I have only just purchased a new DSRL camera (PENTAX K200D).I have some equipment ,but am looking to make the most out of my upcoming holiday to Las Vages and Canada B.C. Can I get some ideas as to what I should get in the way of lens filters and cleaning equipment.
Body : Pentax K200D
1st lens : Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC Macro
2nd lens : Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro
2 x 4GB SD cards
Tamrac 3340 carry bag
If I could get some help please.:hmm:
