Hi,
The update is not recognized when starting up. I had no problems with 1.20.
Here is what I have done.
Formatted SD card
copied bin file to SD card root directory on Mac
inserted the SD card into camera
Full battery
pushed menu button
turned on camera
the camera starts up normally does not recognize firmware
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have bought 9 lenses and a 67 body from Japanese sellers and have not problems whatsoever, They ship promptly, as one other poster said they arrive quickly. I have been charged one time for import duty when I bought an FA 645 120mm for some reason. Everything I have bought arrived as described or even better than described. I would say look at the feedback and decide for yourself. Just purchased a
67 35mm fisheye today from Japan.

The question is will the current lens line up be able to handle the 50mp sensor. You will have to use nothing less than Canon L glass. I have an office full of L glass and the most current lenses were developed when the biggest sensor was
22mp. I have read that most of the Nikon glass doesn't do justice to the D810. In my experience medium format glass has always been ahead of 35mm. I have used Hassy, Rollei, Mamiya, now Pentax and to me the medium format glass is magical, whether it be digital or film. If you want a big sensor size try a 55mm x 70mm and 354mg bit file scan. Of course you have to have a good scanner. Although the 645D,Z is not true medium format in the tradition of 645, 67 sense, they still the have bigger state of the art sensors and are able to use all the existing medium format glass. At one point Canon was considering going into the MF market. To me medium format like I said can be magical. I smile everytime I up load or scan MF files. The files I get from my 1DS 11 and 5DMk11 are beautiful but they aren't magical to my eye.

I have not shot with a 645D. I have found my 645Z nothing short of amazing as far as IQ. color etc. If you read the review by Chris Giles (he is on this site now) that mikeSF posted he addresses the CCD vs CMOS sensor issue. His quote is " the files that come out of 645Z are flatter than Belgium". Also I have found the Adobe color standard for the 645Z to be a little lacking. I am using Huelight color presets in some situations and have found them to be very good. Huelight Pentax Camera Profiles |

Hello, I have always wanted a 67. My first real camera was an LX. Couldn't afford a 67 back in the day. I recently acquired a 67 to go with my 645Z. After inspecting the camera the back and finder seals are in bad shape or non existent. My question will I be wasting film to use the camera until I get new seals, which I have ordered. Your help would be appreciated.

Being able to crop to 25% and still get this detail shows the power of the 645Z sensor. Handheld snapshot.
