thank you. The slow film speed helped contribute to the effect ---------- Post added 11-18-23 at 04:00 AM ----------
I appreciate the comment. There is actually a very tiny bug on top, but it can only be seen at about 100% pixels on the scan or the original slide in a Pana-Vue. ---------- Post added 11-18-23 at 04:03 AM ----------
thanks ! The grass was rather dense behind the mushroom which created the shadow to help isolate the subject. Like most of us, I mainly shoot digital now, but the surprise factor of film cannot be replaced.

I could not "navigate" to the Pentax-Ricoh page to buy the IT2 disc, and it appears it is not on any of their accessory pages at their online store.
You can only access the page directly, such as the link provided by Tim426. (or maybe google it).
Has anyone heard if they are phasing out this software to be replaced by something new?
Their "search" function only lists the free update, not the original software.
It is currently in my Pentax Ricoh shopping cart, but I wonder why they are not actively offering this for sale.
I see it goes for $250 on eBay (!), but still only $200 at Ricoh.
Thanks!

thank for reply. Your price is certainly fair. I am vacillating for reasons other than price. I already have a horizonal mount and wonder if the vertical "side" mount is more useful.

Thanks, Adam!
The photo was taken Nov. 27, but I did not set the calendar in the camera so the EXIF date is wrong.I thought I had "hidden" the post and was surprised to get any response.
This was the K-30, but I also use a few other Pentax digitals as well as the P series film cameras.Since I have the K-1ii, I'm not sure what this camera can do that the K-1 cannot, except the flip-out screen. The LCD screen resembles a camcorder in that way and the K-1 cannot move the screen 180°. It appears to be a more advanced K-30. My version of the K-30 has rapid battery usage, so perhaps the K-70 has that solved. I recently decided it would be faster on a job to change cameras and not change lenses, so I have been buying old ist-D series that have most functions intact. So that is how I would use it, as a more-or-less permanent home to one of my lenses!
