He just made some condescending remarks that were not necesarily grounded 100% in reality. Then he compounded that ill thought out remark with an even more petty reponse to my observations.....he apparently doesn't have to consider anything he doesn't WANT to....sounds like something a 5 year old might say.

I have apparently started a war on that poll's comments. The author has not responded to any of my further points haha.

I had a look. I did not like the author of the poll's condescending remarks about sony and market share.

I have to say, I am surprised no one has mentioned a 105/2.8 or faster. One of my absolute favorite lenses is the super takumar 105mm there is just something special about images from that lens. Or for that matter, why not the 85/1.8?

In the late 70s and early 80s the government shut down a lot of plants before they were completed. This particular one costed tax payers 2 billion dollars before it was shut down. I spent 12 hours on site photographing this place.

I just thought it would make a sweet self portrait and I have a really strong grip. I just don't see much deviation from doing it 5 feet off the ground or 100 times that.

Yeah, we were up on the ledge of the aqua in chicago with winds gusting to 35 mph. Had to climb up an elevator mast to get on the roof and some other crafty stuff.

Apertures ranged from 8-22 and the exposure coincidentally range from 8s to 30s heheh.
Oh, he was just looking, but he does look like a base jumper, he has talked about it for awhile now actually. He has other plans that I hope to photograph in epic ways.
That last shot should be better, but I upscaled a smaller version of it that had a better color balance and killed the clarity.

hahahahahahahahahaha, sorry. I am using the most busted up old cheap lousy tripod ever. I keep one of the legs secure with duct tape cause it fell like 13 stories in richmond virginia when I was coming down a fire escape. It is terrible.

Why is it that people want to be placated by a crop function on a FF camera by Pentax. If you are happy with, and commited to APS-C, then stick with those models. Pentax will clearly continue to develop and support the format even if they make a full frame camera. So there is no reason to be concerned with these capabilities in a FF camera. Just a thought.

Whatever it starts out at, I am sure it will fall quickly like previous models. Though all of the hype may delay the price drops slightly more than previous models. I will be watching and waiting. I just got laid off and could not be more irritated by that than right now. I still have about 1100 in the bank and a few debts to collect on, but I can't afford to be broke right now.....or can i?

I'll be saving up...don't know how, but I will. I already have an IR Ist-D-S a K10D and a K20D ehich I will not be parting with in order to purchase this camera. I have a problem that keeps me from embracing the out with the old in with the new policy. I love and use all of my cameras for different purposes and often use them to teach others photography, so the more cameras I have the more people I can reach and inspire. Soon i can let 2 people that do not have cameras accompany me on shoots and help them learn, I guess I could now, but the IR camera takes some getting used to.
I also have a meriad of film bodies that I won't part with.
I'll see what the early adopters have to say and wait for a price drop, but I can't help but painfully cry out how badly i want this camera.
