Hi,
I have since a couple of days a problem with my Pentax K-r.
The status screen on the monitor gets black sometimes and does not appear again. I have not used my camera for quite a while and as far as I recall it always gets black for a moment when focusing.
Now it goes black without pressing the shutter release button, comes randomly on again - sometimes immediately sometimes it takes a time. Frequently the status screen does not appear at all (it just stays black) and I have to take the battery out and put it in again. I can however take photos.
I have noticed it after using it for a couple of hours, suddenly the screen stayed black. Before it appeared to work normally.
Did anybody experience something like this before? Hope I described it understandably.
Would be grateful for your help.
