It is not just the moon, the complex cloud hues reflected in the water have created a far more complex and interesting image than may be first apparent.

I lived in Pennsylvania for years and this simple but elegant photo transports me back for a winter view. The close hills and trees, the hills in the distant left and then the clouds. For me, the depth of this photo helps it so much to tell a story.

The choice of those trees and the timing were both perfect. To me, the lacy tree provides the "mirroring."
