Ok : Heavy pp here.
This is the short story behind this picture :
I was able to download my SD card between 2 trips, but not to process the photos.
But, as I use Google Photo, I’ve received on my smartphone the panorama stitched automatically.
Nice stitch technically. Although, the scenery was still vivid in my memory, and the result on the "flat" side (Photographer’s responsibility).
As you know, eyes + brain are HDR, camera's sensor isn’t. (An HDR setting is available in the Q but that's another story).
So, as I was unsatisfied, I’ve decided to add some "pop" via Snapseed (another great app, now Google's one).
There was there an HDR editing untried, and this was a good opportunity to test it.
Snapseed offers a large bunch of HDR tuning, even with (1) jpeg. The screen is small though ;)
I’m not a big fan of HDR, but I liked the painterly result, in the blue hour mood.

Hi,
Here's a Quick & Dirty test of 3 300mm :
Nikon 300mm 4.5 AI (not Ais)
Nikon 300mm 4.5 IFED
Tamron 60-300 3.8-5.4 23A
Camera : Q7, so 1380mm 24x36 here
higher speed 1/500e, lower speed 1/50e
Distance : 50m ?
Handheld on a Bean bag with IS (SR) on
Model : Michel.
Caution :
1/ It's made Q&D
2/ Samples may vary ;)
Let's go,
First the scene full frame with each lens, sharpening for web images applied :

Ok, still lack of time, but a short review :
- first infinity is OK, very important of course
- the adapter locks perfectly on the camera side
- on the lens side, it's only a strong clamping, so it's up to you if the distance scale & aperture ring are in front of you, or not
- the adapter has to be blackened obviously
In short : It works GREAT! M43 To Pentax Q Adapter (5XEUW4YKH) by charmlee IMG_20180623_201718635 by phoenix jc, sur Flickr

Standard 02 @6.5mm f3.2
Pictures were systematically better with the Samyang in "A" mode because exposure time was limited to 2 sec max with the adapted lens, when it goes to 8-15 sec with the Standard 02 (overexposed + no tripod = handheld pictures with IS)

Hi Buberfan,
Same problem here.
I'm learning Darktable. It's a powerfull tool. Not easy.
Only for the DNGs of the Q7...
I shoot JPEG+RAW : I use mainly the JPEGs but sometime I need the raw to rescue the picture.
I'm angry against you, DXO, and for this reason, as long as I'll use the Q7, I won't upgrade.
Understand me : I don't care if you don't create a Q7 profile because there is not enough users.
But why can't I open the DNG as if it was, say, a K5 !?
With all the disclosure you want. My challenge, not yours.
Well...Darktable.
For JPEGs basic editing in Picasa (love it), and when I need it, Nik software, ICE, some others specialized tools.

Sigma 400 5.6 "APO".
A word about the lens: Probably the shortest 400mm ever built! Wrong : The Tokina is shorter.
Sigma's "peach skin" coating on the barrel has become sticky over time (as usual).
A black residue remains on your fingers....That's the only reason I used camo gaffer here.
The lens is as sharp as any in its time, more or less the same level as the Nikkor for example.
The focusing ring is not pleasant, it's difficult to be precise, the colours are on the yellowish side
(f8/f11 1840mm eq.) EDIT & DISCLOSURE : I've just checked the lens, it has developped haze because of the cemented groups separation...
Just a beginning, but the lens is dead. It was clear when I got it. :(

Thanks kwb !
So, I'll make a long answer later on ;)
This is the short one for now : 400 5.6 TOKINA NIKON-001 by phoenix jc, sur Flickr
The lens is surprisingly sharp ! already @ 5.6
Small, light, pleasant in hands, perfect focus ring...Cheap.
But fully loaded with CA.
I got the lens for a song...And paid an expensive price for the Nikkor. What a pain.

Hi kwb,
the answers are ; yes, yes, yes.
Previously I was only able to adapt Nikon/Nikkors on Q/Q7
Now, I can adapt all my lenses OM, FD, MD, M42...PK : K 400mm 5.6 ? Mmm...The Leica is better,
Tokina 150-500 5.6 ? this heavy thing needs a try.
Just for Fun ;) ---------- Post added 07-25-18 at 01:21 PM ----------
It was the idea...but : There is a but ;)
