This winter, a couple of butterflies overwintered in my village house. From time to time I came there to throw off the snow from the greenhouses and take a steam bath. Every time I stoked the stove in the house, the butterflies woke up from hibernation and began to fly around the room. I photographed one of them when she was sitting on the other side of the curtain. When I left they fell asleep again. One of these butterflies survived until the spring heat and I let it out the window.
