I had one of the early 50-135 SDM. It died at the worst possible shooting moment. I sent it back for repair. It has worked fine since then, but, frankly, I still don't trust it and am hoping for a 50-135 PLM replacement. If you don't want screw-drive, a replacement motor would be a good deal, but there's not counting on how long it will last. What kink of warranty comes with the new motor?
I've had good luck with my replacement. Is there any data on how quickly replacements fail if they do?

I also like the designs with with colors of the rainbow coming out of a prism.
As suggested by Jean Poitiers, it's best to better align the split light with the prism.
I'm not upset or confused by the use of a rainbow (and I'm American.) It's fine. Anyone who gets this confused with anything political should be pointed to an elementary physics text book.
By the way, my neighbor, Roy G. Biv, suggests using the rainbow colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.

I think the Nikon D750 is a good benchmark for price. I think it will sell at that price.
If P/R can come in a little under that, they would have winner, if they announce soon.

Just sold a couple so I'm down to only 12 lenses. (I think)
But I am eyeing the new lens roadmap.

It's nice to get those reactions.
I walked into an art store in San Diego last year and the owner spotted my Pentax and said, "No one shoots with Pentax anymore!"
Needles to say, I didn't buy anything.
