I'm using capture fix about 3 weeks all my DNG files has been converted and C1 9 works in my opinion perfectly. I compared few files dng LR & C1 and overall result is really ok. Capture fix is for free you don't have to pay for it. That's true that You can't make lens correction for example but You can make it later in PS as tiff file and back to C1 to finish Your raw process or stay at the end in PS. Do You really need color profiles during Your raw process?

Yes that's true but You don't have to update it very quick. Alex made a good job and his last update works perfectly with C1 9. But Of course it's a kind of risk but I think its worth of it.

Hi everyone. Can You tell me, what is the problem to use Capture Fix from Alex Munoz to convert very quick DNG files from 645z to use them in C1? This is great and simple software (

Hello,
yesterday I bought 25mm lens for my 645z from second hand without manual instructions. I'm looking for something like manual pdf instruction or maybe someone can help me and describe (I'm amateur) what is this small filter 40.5mm inside my lens? :)
Thank You

Thank You DougS. That's correct, C1 recognize PEF files after converting to DNG but colours, contrast etc. are not the same. So in my opinion, until P1 will start to support 645Z I have to back to LR. This is now the best solution I think. Or maybe LR 6 will copy-paste Color Balance tool from C1 and I will be very happy then :)))

ewenbell - nothing more nothing less. I loved C1, now I have to fall in love with LR ;)

It's simple, capture one doesn't recognize dng files from 645z. You have to convert them from pef to dng and then everything seems to be ok. In my opinion their RAW convertors are definitely better than Lightroom though :)

Hello,
I have a little problem with dng files from 645z if I want to export them to C1. Yes I know that C1 doesn't support 645z but I have a question. When I'm shooting in PEF files and then using Adobe RAW converter to convert them to DNG, Capture One can see my photos and everything seems to be ok but is converting from PEF to DNG and then exporting to C1 is destructive or non destructive? Thank You for help :)
