It has a case of fungus visible from the rear. Purchased used and locally about 20 months ago and didn't get a chance to use it. Discovered the fungus the other day. :mad: See photos.

Purchased in package deal second hand from K-70 kit. The lens is like new or mint. Includes front and rear caps and hood. No box as it came with the kit. The seller purchased the kit new and had less than 700 shutter count, so assuming the lens also has less than 700 shutter count.
If any problems w/ it, return it within 7 days of receiving it, and I'll even play for 1/2 the return shipping costs.

Lens, front and rear caps, hood, collar, and soft case all included. NO BOX.
I am the second owner of the lens. This was purchased new from Adorama in mid-2016. I then bought it from the original owner in late 2016. I had the mirror-less K-01 at the time and the focusing was finicky (very slight back or front focusing). Some reported this lens doesn't pair well with the K-01 due to the contrast detection AF. Not until I sold it in early 2017 did I find out that the focusing issue had to do with the lens, not my camera. I accepted the return from the buyer.
Fast forward about a year. I had the lens adjusted by Tamron USA for $225 as the 6-year warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Ugh! I just got it back June 14, 2018.
Anyway, here it is up for sale, just back from Tamron. They confirmed the focusing had been slightly off prior to adjustment. I tested it out w/ my recently-acquired K-70 and it focuses just fine now!!! I noticed two specks of dust in the internal elements that are visible in the photos. Obviously, they do not affect the image quality.
Selling because this lens is way too large and heavy for me for travel. Thinking about going back to the 50-135mm DA*.

Shutter count at ONLY 1,151.
I purchased this from a fellow user in October 2016. It was brand new unused when purchased.
There is a scratch on the top silver area and very minor one on the LCD. See photos. Other than that, camera is in great condition and no problems that I am aware of.

Update: the former buyer reported back focusing issues with both a K-1 and K-70 that was not adjustable via in-camera settings.

It's upgraded to v1.03 now. I wasn't aware of the battery problem. If I recall, I carried about three sets of rechargeable eneloop Ni-MH batteries, but did use the lithium batteries on trips since they lasted far longer...but so expensive!

Resurrecting this thread from the dead.
So about a year ago, I sold this lens to a buyer with a DSLR instead of the K-01 mirrorless, assuming it was my K-01 camera that was causing the focusing issues. The buyer ended up having similar issues, so I refunded him. The lens has been sitting here since. I don't know whether to 1) sell at a big discount or 2) have it repaired. Any idea how much this could cost to repair?

Camerashuttercount.com said 5296. The last photo I took shows IMGP5878, so not sure if it's that. Either way, it's under 6000.
It's been so long that I don't know if I am the original owner or not, but I probably am. This came after my K110D and long before my K-S2.
It works. It takes AA batteries instead of a lithium-rechargeable. I took a photo tonight and the camera stayed in MF for a minute and then went into AF.

I just got myself got this Tamron telephoto lens. I was extremely excited to use it with the K-01. The first AF shots I took at home at objects within 20 feet were sharp, even at 200mm at F2.8. Of course, MF shots were sharp as well.
Then I tried taking a photo of objects in the distance, like a building down the road or 1/4 or 1/2 mile away. In daylight and AF mode, it's out of focus. No problem, I'll just put it in MF mode. Same results! It's sharp on the LCD screen but once I click the shutter, the image is out of focus. I even put the camera on a tripod and set it to 2-second timer to make sure it wasn't blur from shake. Same result!! Camera is obviously on release priority.
Any idea what the problem is? I didn't notice any problems w/ my 16-50mm F2.8 on the K-01. Nor does this problem exist with my K-X and the Tamron.
