Ricoh/Pentax can't win even when they win.
This whole review industry is fixed...come on now, they CRUSHED it...
Sad, but loyal...

Light is the most important issue. When you say the wedding will be at a museum, I assume it will be indoors. I many museums can be a bit dark, to preserve exhibits. So I'm a bit concerned. Is it possible for you to visit the venue before the big day and take some test shots? Also, high ceilings won't be good for bounce flash.

I don't have it. I have both the hefty DFA 15-30 and 70-200, and was worried that collecting those two together with the 24-70 in one place may cause a crack in the Earth's crust. So I opted for the comparatively svelte DFA 28-105 instead (with which I am very happy).
But your shot is very attractive. The bokeh is dreamy and it's sharp enough even wide open for your foreground subjects. I wonder how the same shot would look at f/4. I'm sure you will enjoy the lens. Congratulations.

K-1 and 24-70 is probably the best combination for results on your trip. The wideness at the 24 end will enable you to get nice inclusion in your shots, plus the extra range up to 70 will come in really handy for situations requiring getting somewhat closer. The image quality (detail/resolution/color) should be fantastic with the K-1. Have a wonderful time!

I'd bring the 70-200 along too. I find that my 24-70 (mine is the Sigma EX HSM version), Tamron 70-200, and K1 all fit in my small camera bag perfectly.

If this is really your question then my honest answer would be that you could probably get better pictures with a recent phone camera. And I honestly do not mean this in a bad way.

Nice pics, captured the right moment. What is the occasion & place, do upload more of them?
really happy to see the rare phenomenon of an Indian using a Pentax camera!!:):). I'd love to get my hands on the K-70 (K-1 is out of my budget) but there's no clue when it'd be available in India, plus lens issues.

I bought my K-1 a week ago after months of considering getting a Nikon D810 and possibly a D500 for action. The Tamron equivalent zoom lenses for Nikon were much cheaper and this swayed me in favour of Nikon. However I rarely shoot action/sports and the K-1 has everything I want , The Nikon D810 does not. I got a good deal on the DFA 15-30 and the DFA 24-70. The D750 has less megapixels and has an anti-aliassing filter so I really didn't consider it.
What ever you choose will be the right decision for you.

What do you shoot?
The D750 in no way compares to the k-1. It is an upgrade from a K-3 in many respects.
SO D750- better action camera, better AF and Tracking, IQ sacrificed for speed of operation and frame rate.
K-1 designed as a field camera. Slow burst mode, not as good AF or tracking... harder to get a moving image, but if you do get the image, because it's a landscape, stationary or because the K-1 tracking and AF are up to the job (and they are up to the job more often than the aren't )... then the K-1 gets you a higher IQ image.
You really are comparing apples and oranges.
If you want the IQ of the K-1 then a D750 isn't good enough.
If you want the tracking and AF of the D750 then a K-1 isn't good enough. Simply stated, you can't have it all, no matter what you buy. Only you can decide.
But, if you have no way of using the higher IQ, i.e. you don't print big....maybe the D750 is the best compromise.
Personally I wouldn't consider a D750, unless I was buying a D810 to go with it, in case I want what the K-1 has to offer. MY choice was K-3 instead of D750, and K-1 instead of D810, but the D750 remains a very nice one camera choice. Although in your case a D750 in crop mode delivers considerably less IQ than your D3300, so thinking of using crop lenses would put you at a serious disadvantage with it.

Being a former Canon and Nikon user, I can say with certainty that I'd take your K1 and lenses over anything these other companies have to offer!

I had to go check my bag to make sure you didn't steal my kit. Seriously. This is exactly mine, except I don't have a 70-200 and I have FA*24.
I just got the DA*55 and it's fantastic. Definitely blows the FA43 out of the water. That thing...not so good.

AFAIK, there is a Leica camera that is close to this spec list, and expensive enough to discourage beginners to buy one.

This year, I've already spend lots of money into a K1 and DFA lenses. Please Ricoh, don't release anything that would tempt me to spend money, it's enough spent for this year. Thank you.

Nicolas, you might be trying to find out what camera is better for you, but "overall in absolute term"?
What if we change a little bit the context, and AF isn't as important? (By the way, I'm also not seeing any of the new D FA lenses in your gear list). What if the ability to shoot with compact high quality stabilized primes is the better choice? What if we're talking build quality? Ergonomics? What if you're shooting static subjects on a tripod, and Composition Adjustment would help greatly with precise alignment?
An absolute judgement should still remain valid in any context. Yours, doesn't; and this kind of thinking, that one could devise an "overall in absolute term" evaluation of a camera is what gave us those silly review scores. Oh, wait, the Nikon is an 84% camera while the Pentax is just an 73% camera, the Nikon is so obviously better!
And just like that, there would be no reason to buy Pentax, ever.
