Pentax Fa 31mm f1.8

Asking Price

Item Description
This one hurts to sell, but due to recent job loss I must part with it :( .
Pentax fa31mm f1.8 ltd. Black. Made in Japan. Needs no introduction.

This lens is less than a year old and in excellent-like new condition. Babied.
Only marks visible are a few spots on the lens cap. Might have a few cosmetic spots on body but their too small for my eyes to distinguish. Glass is perfect. Any spots visible in pics are dust/dirt/lint.
Sorry for the crappy pics, had to use p&s.

$875us includes shipping. Sorry, will not ship overseas.

Item Description
Due to recent job loss I am selling some of my lenses.
First up for sale is a tamron 28-75mm f2.8 zoom lens. Lens is in excellent shape as seen in pictures, might be some tiny cosmetic scuffs visible on the exterior. Front element glass has a tiny scratch/spot on the very outer edge of the glass that does not appear in photos or affect pics or function(spot can been seen in pic #1 in the upper right hand corner).
Sorry for the crappy pics, had to use p&s camera.

Item for Sale
Pentax K7+grip & extra batteries

Asking Price
1100.00 us

Shipping Destinations
United States

Item Description
As much as I hate to do this, I am selling my k7 & some of my lenses(lenses available in other auctions- this is for camera body & grip only) due to recent job loss.
The camera & grip are about 6months old, under warranty, & in excellent to like new condition. The only visible marks are a few tiny scratchs on the bottom of the grip & a tiny scratch/dot on the rear lcd screen. The scratch/dot is visible when the screen is off but barely noticeable when on, as seen in picture. Other than that the camera looks & functions perfectly & any speck or marks visible in the photos are dust/dirt/lint.
This is a good copy of the k7 imo as i have not been able to reproduce the green line or any of the other bugs that some users experienced.
Sorry for the crappy photos, had to use my p&s camera
The auction includes:
K7
dbg-4 vertical grip
3 batteries (possibly 4, will have to check)
charger
manuals
supplied cables

$1100us- price includes shipping. will not ship overseas, sorry.

Upgrade or not?

I'm in the same boat(have k10d, thinking of upgrading to k7), would love to hear more opinions on weather or not to upgrade now or wait to see if any firmware/hardware updates come out for the k7 or just wait till the next model.
I would imagine the r&d $ for the next camera will go to IQ improvements, as it seems everything else on the K7 are tiptop.
Ugh, decisions decisions..................

I've been avoiding looking at pics from nikon's d700/d3, but i finally took a look last night on a forum, for the first time(honest!), and.....wow. Thats all i can say.
I really, really, really want a full frame camera. I knew it would have that affect on me:fedup:
I'm going to wait 1 more year and if pentax doesnt have any ff in the works, or atleast an announcment of ff intentions.......sigh

If you could do it all over?...

If i could do it all over, the four main lenses would be
fa35mm f2 - for indoors/low light (sharpest sub f2.8 lens)
fa43mm f1.9- general use/portrait
fa77mm f1.8- general use/portrait
da 50-135mm f2.8- zoom
And i'd like to find room for the fa31mm and the new da* 55mm f1.4.

Of the above listed, i currently only have the fa 43 and i dont see it leaving my camera anytime soon. I love the sharpness, build and focal length. Its perfect

ah lol the only time i've heard father christmas mentioned was in an old punk rock song where they talk about robbing him lol sorry.

No credit crunch here, just got a good deal on them(got the mf's for free) and figured i'd pass it on. To be honest, I thought the price seemed a bit high.
Thanks all for looking
